Ahmed Ahmed Orchestrates Chaos in Commanding Victory Over Goon Squad

If you were sitting courtside this past Sunday, you knew exactly who was pulling the strings. Ahmed Ahmed put on a clinic for Chaos, systematically dismantling the Goon Squad defense with his vision and poise. Finishing with 10 points, 10 rebounds, and a game-high 8 assists, Ahmed was the heartbeat of the offense, ensuring that every possession had a purpose. It wasn’t just the passing; it was the composure he brought to the floor that allowed his teammates to thrive in a 61–49 victory. When you have a floor general who can facilitate that effectively, the rest of the game plan usually falls right into place.

Chaos 61, Goon Squad 49

While Ahmed was busy setting the table, Waris Sidiq feasted, putting up a monster 25-point, 11-rebound double-double to lead all scorers. Yousif Kinan provided the muscle inside, hauling down 12 rebounds to keep the Goon Squad from getting second chances. For the Goon Squad, Muneeb Moulvi was lethal from deep, hitting 9 three-pointers on his way to 30 points, but he lacked the consistent support needed to keep pace. Muhammad Aslam chipped in with 12 points and 4 assists, yet the team struggled to find rhythm against the Chaos defensive rotation. Chaos cruised to this one by controlling the glass and finding open shooters throughout the second half.

Wolfpack 56, Black Mambas 53

In the tightest contest of the afternoon, the Wolfpack squeaked out a three-point win thanks to a balanced attack. Junaid Zaveri paced the pack with 27 points and 8 rebounds, consistently attacking the rim when his team needed a bucket most. Feroze Oomerjee added 9 points and 7 rebounds, while Zohaib Molvi was the unsung hero, dishing out 7 assists without committing a single turnover. The Black Mambas kept it close behind Chachmoni Macon, who was a force with 21 points and 11 rebounds, including six triples. Despite Samy Ousman’s 10-point, 6-assist effort, the Mambas couldn't quite close the gap in the final minutes.

Late Bloomers 41, Just Keep 27

The league leaders continued their dominant run, methodically taking down Just Keep in a 14-point decision. Adnan Khan provided the spark with 11 points and 4 assists, shooting 3-of-6 from downtown to stretch the floor. Aabid Farukhi and Asif Qureshi were reliable as ever, combining for 19 points and keeping the ball moving in the half-court set. Just Keep relied heavily on Nick Llamas, who fought for 12 points and 6 rebounds, but they struggled to generate efficient looks against the stingy Bloomers perimeter defense. It was a complete team effort for the Bloomers, who remain the team to beat as they continue their undefeated tear.

ICH 57, Apollo-7 46

If you blinked, you might have missed an Amer Awawdeh jumper. He went absolutely nuclear for ICH, dropping 36 points on an efficient 13-of-26 shooting display, including an incredible 8-of-12 from long range. He didn’t need to do it alone, though, as Sufyan Suliman stuffed the stat sheet with 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. Apollo-7 tried to counter with Arslan Rehman’s 14 points and Talal Qureshi’s three triples, but they simply couldn't contain the perimeter barrage from ICH. Majed Jesri didn't score, but his 11 rebounds were vital in protecting the lead for ICH down the stretch.

Tablighi Jumpers 52, Mamdanicks 39

The Tablighi Jumpers found their rhythm on both ends of the floor, securing a comfortable win behind a collective effort. Adil Hussain anchored the middle with a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double, while Ahmed Najiub led the scoring effort with 13 points and 8 boards. The Jumpers’ ball movement was sharp, leading to high-percentage looks that the Mamdanicks couldn't consistently stop. For the Mamdanicks, Ahmad Abdelkarim battled for 11 points and Hans Mendez contributed 8, but the team struggled to find a secondary scoring option to challenge the Jumpers’ lead. A late surge by the Jumpers ensured they controlled the tempo for the final six minutes.

Pushing 30 45, Sand Ninjas 39

In a physical, grind-it-out game, Pushing 30 leaned on their veterans to hold off the Sand Ninjas. Charlton Romualdez was the difference-maker, finishing with 13 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks, while Owais Khan provided a boost with 10 points and 3 triples. The Sand Ninjas made it interesting behind John Payan, who logged a team-high 16 points, and Raheem Mahbubbi, who was a pest on the defensive end with 4 steals and 12 rebounds. Despite the efforts of the Ninjas' frontcourt to own the paint, Pushing 30’s defensive discipline in the final quarter proved to be the deciding factor in a hard-fought six-point victory.

League Honors and Look-Ahead

It was a week dominated by elite individual performances, but one name stood out at the top of the mountain. Player of the Week goes to Waris Sidiq, who turned in an incredible 25-point, 11-rebound double-double for Chaos, boasting a stellar 47.7 game score. While Sidiq held the top spot, Amer Awawdeh’s 36-point outburst for ICH was the most electrifying display of scoring we’ve seen all year. On the boards, Yousif Kinan of Chaos and Idris Gettani and Raheem Mahbubbi of the Sand Ninjas shared top honors, each pulling down 12 rebounds in their respective contests.

Looking ahead, the schedule is heating up. Keep your eyes on the upcoming clash between the undefeated Late Bloomers and the Wolfpack. The Bloomers have looked invincible at 9-0, but the Wolfpack are sitting at 7-2 and have the size and playmaking to give the leaders their toughest test of the season yet. It’s the kind of high-stakes game that defines the division, and you won’t want to miss how
